Autumn conferences and trade fairs

Rail Business Days, the first ever event of the annual conference and B2B presentation of firms from the field of rail transport was held on the days 22–24 November at the Congress Centre in Prague.
The new concept focusing on the discussion of current topics throughout the field of rail transport and support for the business contacts of firms attracted large companies and institutions. The event was held under the aegis of the ACRI, Federation of Industry and Transport, Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the state organisation Správa železnic [Railway Infrastructure Manager]. Firms throughout the entire field were partners – VÚŽ as the general partner, as well as BONATRANS, Škoda Transportation, Siemens, AŽD Praha, Unicontrols and others. During the Wednesday block of presentations focusing on safety and sustainability, Jiří Kaleta spoke on our behalf with the presentation on the theme of “Innovation in wheel set and its components” Two hundred people signed up for the event, but due to the pandemic situation approximately one third did not come.
Eurasia Rail in Turkey was another trade fair where we sent our representatives at the end of November.Both BONATRANS and GHH-Radsatz have long held a position in the supply chain for rail vehicles on the railways and in transport companies in this region. Michal Šmuk and Martin Vilč talked to customers on our behalf at the stand of our local representative Famec. More than 7500 participants from 54 countries visited the exhibition. Firms of the Czech rail industry made their presentations here as part of the official Czech participation organised by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the ACRI.
