The joint event of the college Ruhr West and its development association had the aim to show small and medium sized enterprises (SME’s) the possibilities of how they can create a network with the college in order to win skilled employees in the future.
Ronald Seidelman, Managing Director of Gutehoffnungshütte Radsatz GmbH in Oberhausen stated: “Investing in a scholarship to support a student financially is a low-threshold entry to HRW without a huge risk, which however is a wise investment into the future of a company.”
Besides a panel discussion, in which the subject of how young qualified people can get tied down to SME’s, various widespread questions with regards to the “tomorrow’s specialists” were conclusively discussed around several topic tables between representatives from HRW and the companies present.
